Guns & Butter Hoodie

The Guns & Butter hoodie is inspired from a quote from the character (Melvin), in John Singleton’s hood classic “Baby Boy”. The quote was a motivational speech explaining the difference between material possessions that depreciate over time versus the things in life that appreciate over time.

While the quote itself would seem to be a contradiction to be placed on a garment, the message is clear that self-awareness is the key to success. This hoodie was made with the hope to spread this message wherever your walk of life may take you.

The black lines throughout the quote serve as a redaction for the profane language to not distract from the overall message. This hoodie speaks volumes to financial literacy through controversial words. Don’t let that go over your head!
